Night Cairo tour with Respect Egypt Tours

Feb 2026 • Friends

We had the absolute best experience with our guide, Reda. From the very beginning, she was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought so much depth and context to everything we saw, but explained it in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, not overwhelming. Reda struck the perfect balance between professional and personable. She made us feel safe, taken care of, and genuinely excited to be there. You could tell she truly loves what she does, and that passion made the entire experience unforgettable. She was attentive to our questions, mindful of our pace, and always one step ahead, whether it was navigating crowds, sharing historical insight, or making sure we were comfortable. Having her as our guide elevated the entire trip. If you get the chance to tour with Reda, take it. She was simply great.

A great guide working for a great tour company

The pre-tour customer service support was the best I’ve experienced for a day trip in a dozen years of travel – highly responsive and clear – including accommodation of my late modification to the itinerary. My thanks to Nada. My guide on a private tour to the GEM and Old Cairo Museum, Laila, is young but knows her subject matter and explains things well. Often with day trip guides you can tell that they know the script but are less comfortable with broader or deeper questions. That is not true of Laila. She has put in the homework needed to know Egypt’s extensive history. She really knows her way around both museums, too, which helped maximize my time. And she has a friendly, casual style that makes her comfortable to be with for a full day. I would not hesitate to request her for another tour. Our driver, Ayman, was excellent. He called me at the hotel the day before the tour to confirm the pick up time. I’ve never had that happen on any other tour. It was a nice touch. On the drive he was good at pointing out local sections of Cairo and landmarks, and was deft at getting off the main road and cutting through a residential section to pick up our guide (it was interesting to see neighborhoods up close).

Great trip !!

Our group of four had an excellent visit to Egypt in mid January, thanks to Respect Egypt Tours. We had built a custom tour for four family members to pick us up at the airport, secure visas, get around Cairo and Luxor, take us to all the must-see sites, and generally babysit us. This tour company exceeded our expectations. Our guides were Wael in Cairo and Ahmad in Luxor, both skilled, knowledgeable and very friendly. The Respect Egypt Tour coordinator, Nada, was more attentive before and during the tour than any I have ever worked with. We highly recommend this company to all who want some hands on when they visit Egypt.

Answers of the questions you're thinking about

Have a Question?

Certainly! Abu Simbel is one of the favorite places people go on a day trip from Aswan as it is one of the most visited places in Egypt and has great significance. Respect Egypt Tours would smoothen your day trips to be both comfortable and rewarding.

The journey via bus takes around 3.5 to 4 hours each way as a general rule. Tours start very early, thus giving you more time at the temples, and get back to Aswan by evening.

Certainly! The Abu Simbel temples are as remarkable as they are historically important by virtue of being hewed right into the cliff. What is more impressive, however, is the fact that this World Heritage Site is astonishing in person.

A stay lasting for one-and-half to two hours is more than enough to visit the Great Temple of Ramses II of Abu Simbel and the Temple of Hathor, built for the queen Nefertari. This time will allow you to admire detailed reliefs and large-scale images hurrying nowhere.

We, at Respect Egypt Tours, care for our client’s comfort and satisfaction. Our foreign professional experts add a unique style to their informative speeches and our excellent planning provides ease of stress. Our excellent planning ensures you can enjoy the remarkable history of Egypt.

The best time for a visit is between October and April when the temperature is cooler, which makes it easier to walk around and explore. You should also visit the temples in the early morning hours to escape larger crowds and enjoy the warmth of the morning sun.
