Night Cairo tour with Respect Egypt Tours

Feb 2026 • Friends

We had the absolute best experience with our guide, Reda. From the very beginning, she was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought so much depth and context to everything we saw, but explained it in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, not overwhelming. Reda struck the perfect balance between professional and personable. She made us feel safe, taken care of, and genuinely excited to be there. You could tell she truly loves what she does, and that passion made the entire experience unforgettable. She was attentive to our questions, mindful of our pace, and always one step ahead, whether it was navigating crowds, sharing historical insight, or making sure we were comfortable. Having her as our guide elevated the entire trip. If you get the chance to tour with Reda, take it. She was simply great.

A great guide working for a great tour company

The pre-tour customer service support was the best I’ve experienced for a day trip in a dozen years of travel – highly responsive and clear – including accommodation of my late modification to the itinerary. My thanks to Nada. My guide on a private tour to the GEM and Old Cairo Museum, Laila, is young but knows her subject matter and explains things well. Often with day trip guides you can tell that they know the script but are less comfortable with broader or deeper questions. That is not true of Laila. She has put in the homework needed to know Egypt’s extensive history. She really knows her way around both museums, too, which helped maximize my time. And she has a friendly, casual style that makes her comfortable to be with for a full day. I would not hesitate to request her for another tour. Our driver, Ayman, was excellent. He called me at the hotel the day before the tour to confirm the pick up time. I’ve never had that happen on any other tour. It was a nice touch. On the drive he was good at pointing out local sections of Cairo and landmarks, and was deft at getting off the main road and cutting through a residential section to pick up our guide (it was interesting to see neighborhoods up close).

Great trip !!

Our group of four had an excellent visit to Egypt in mid January, thanks to Respect Egypt Tours. We had built a custom tour for four family members to pick us up at the airport, secure visas, get around Cairo and Luxor, take us to all the must-see sites, and generally babysit us. This tour company exceeded our expectations. Our guides were Wael in Cairo and Ahmad in Luxor, both skilled, knowledgeable and very friendly. The Respect Egypt Tour coordinator, Nada, was more attentive before and during the tour than any I have ever worked with. We highly recommend this company to all who want some hands on when they visit Egypt.

Answers of the questions you're thinking about

Have a Question?

The Egyptian Museum, located in Cairo, is rich in history and is also the largest museum for Pharaonic relics in the entire world. The magnitude, especially the range of the ancient relics, is notably amazing, with how a surprising range of treasures, including the famous tomb of King Tut with his spectacular mask and lots of other valuable treasures available. In that regard, tourists are immediately transported to the efficiency and beauty of ancient Egypt.

Inside the Egyptian Museum, you’ll find over 120,000 artifacts from different periods of ancient Egyptian history. From colossal statues and intricate jewelry to ancient mummies and royal coffins, every corner of the museum tells a story. The star attraction is the Tutankhamun collection, featuring his golden mask, chariots, and other priceless treasures. It’s a journey through time that will leave you in awe of Egypt’s ancient civilization.

An exclusive concern for the transformation of the culture and civilization of Egypt characterizes the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) through the ages. Inside, one can find fabulous exhibits, bolstered by real royal mummies, depicting various Egyptian aspects such as its art, religion, and daily life. One of the most striking rooms is the Royal Mummies Hall, where some buried royal bodies such as Ramses II are enclosed for the audience. It also is a fantastic trip from one period of Egyptian history to another.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is near the Pyramids of Giza, is one of the most awaited museums and will open shortly and will be nothing like other museums. It will enclose the entire Tutankhamun collection when opened, displaying a myriad of objects, including several for the first time, along with innumerable other exotic Egyptian antiquities. I would suggest that you remain tuned for announcements concerning this museum because it will become one of the best cultural places in the world.

Respect Egypt Tours provides a comfortable and personal travel service via Egypt’s historical locations.
