Night Cairo tour with Respect Egypt Tours

Feb 2026 • Friends

We had the absolute best experience with our guide, Reda. From the very beginning, she was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought so much depth and context to everything we saw, but explained it in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, not overwhelming. Reda struck the perfect balance between professional and personable. She made us feel safe, taken care of, and genuinely excited to be there. You could tell she truly loves what she does, and that passion made the entire experience unforgettable. She was attentive to our questions, mindful of our pace, and always one step ahead, whether it was navigating crowds, sharing historical insight, or making sure we were comfortable. Having her as our guide elevated the entire trip. If you get the chance to tour with Reda, take it. She was simply great.

A great guide working for a great tour company

The pre-tour customer service support was the best I’ve experienced for a day trip in a dozen years of travel – highly responsive and clear – including accommodation of my late modification to the itinerary. My thanks to Nada. My guide on a private tour to the GEM and Old Cairo Museum, Laila, is young but knows her subject matter and explains things well. Often with day trip guides you can tell that they know the script but are less comfortable with broader or deeper questions. That is not true of Laila. She has put in the homework needed to know Egypt’s extensive history. She really knows her way around both museums, too, which helped maximize my time. And she has a friendly, casual style that makes her comfortable to be with for a full day. I would not hesitate to request her for another tour. Our driver, Ayman, was excellent. He called me at the hotel the day before the tour to confirm the pick up time. I’ve never had that happen on any other tour. It was a nice touch. On the drive he was good at pointing out local sections of Cairo and landmarks, and was deft at getting off the main road and cutting through a residential section to pick up our guide (it was interesting to see neighborhoods up close).

Great trip !!

Our group of four had an excellent visit to Egypt in mid January, thanks to Respect Egypt Tours. We had built a custom tour for four family members to pick us up at the airport, secure visas, get around Cairo and Luxor, take us to all the must-see sites, and generally babysit us. This tour company exceeded our expectations. Our guides were Wael in Cairo and Ahmad in Luxor, both skilled, knowledgeable and very friendly. The Respect Egypt Tour coordinator, Nada, was more attentive before and during the tour than any I have ever worked with. We highly recommend this company to all who want some hands on when they visit Egypt.

Of course! The Kom Ombo Temple is such a distinct location, as it possesses a double temple, which is rather rare, one for Sobek, the Crocodile god, and the other for Horus the falcon god. This impressive construction, it's intriguing past, and vividly preserved relief render the temple a great place to visit for every tourist in the country.

Traveling from Luxor to Edfu Temple is easy. You can take a comfortable taxi or hire a private car, which typically takes about an hour. Alternatively, many Nile cruises include stops at Edfu, making it convenient to visit during your journey.

Yes, certainly! A visit to Edfu Temple is worth any Egyptologist’s time, as it is one of the most complete temples in Egypt with contorted architecture and intricate carvings. Avid devotion to Horus, together with a background full of depth, opens new horizons and becomes a valuable opportunity to touch upon Egypt’s heritage.

The Temple of Edfu remained buried under sand for centuries, which helped to preserve its structure. However, excavations taking place in the nineteenth century uncovered its grandeur as captivating reliefs and inscriptions showing ancient gods and rites emerged.

With Respect Egypt Tours, you become part of Egypt’s marvels. Our experienced guides offer wonderful stories that make the experience even more delightful. We take care of all the details, ensuring a memorable trip, stress-free.

When you go to Edfu and Kom Ombo, for instance, you will see notable temples with fantastic sculptures inside them, understand the stories from ancient Egyptian mythology and admire the enchanting scenery of the Nile River. It is a fascinating captivating experience that makes Egypt’s epic past tangible.
