Visit the Valley Temple, where pharaohs were mummified and purified for their journey to the afterlife.

📍 The Grand Egyptian Museum
One of the world's largest archaeological museums, housing artifacts spanning millennia of Egyptian history, from the Predynastic to the Greco-Roman era.

After your day of discovery, we’ll take you back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch | Overnight: Hotel in Cairo

Following breakfast, your exploration of Old Cairo begins with your expert Respect Egypt Tours Egyptologist. Here, layers of history converge, offering a fascinating glimpse into Egypt's diverse past.

📍 The Egyptian Museum
King Tutankhamun’s tomb is sitting there, with over 50,000 pieces of artifacts from other ancient sources.

📍 The Hanging Church
One of the oldest and most famous Coptic churches in Egypt, built upon the Roman Babylon Fortress, a vital part of Egypt's Christian heritage.

📍 Al Muizz Street
A UNESCO World Heritage site and a live museum of Islamic architecture lined with stunning mosques and madrasas.

📍 Khan El Khalili Bazaar
This famous market in Cairo is one big melting pot for spices, handicrafts, jewelry, and souvenirs. Let yourself be engulfed by the bustling atmosphere of this traditional souq.

At the end of this captivating day, we’ll escort you to the train station to board a comfortable sleeper train bound for Aswan. After arriving, your Respect Egypt Tours representative will greet you and begin your exploration of this vibrant city and the majestic Nile.

📍 Felucca Ride on the Nile
Set sail on a traditional felucca, a graceful wooden sailboat that has plied the Nile for centuries.

📍 Philae Temple
Visit the relocated Philae Temple on Agilkia Island, a major center of worship for the goddess Isis and a testament to Ptolemaic and Roman architecture.

📍 The Unfinished Obelisk
The Unfinished Obelisk offers a fascinating glimpse into the ancient Egyptians' quarrying techniques.

Enjoy a delicious meal onboard and sleep under the starry Egyptian sky.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch | Overnight: Felucca

After a leisurely breakfast in Aswan, a sumptuous and air-conditioned vehicle will drive you to some of the most spectacular and well-preserved temples in all of Upper Egypt. Prepare for awe: intricate carvings and towering columns display an intense history that one should at least have once.

📍 Kom Ombo Temple
This unique double temple, dating from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, is dedicated to two sets of deities: Sobek the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Its twin structure symbolizes balance and duality in ancient Egyptian cosmology.

📍 Edfu Temple
The remarkably well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu, built during the Ptolemaic dynasty (237-57 BC), is dedicated to the falcon-headed god. Its excellent condition is due to its relatively recent construction and subsequent burial under desert sands.

📍 Dendera Temple
This Ptolemaic and Roman-era temple is dedicated to Hathor, goddess of love and motherhood. It is renowned for its stunningly preserved astronomical ceiling, offering insights into ancient Egyptian astronomy.

As the sun sets on another day of incredible discoveries, Return to your felucca for a relaxing evening, ready for more adventures in the land of the pharaohs.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch | Overnight: Felucca

Enjoy a final sunrise on the Nile and a laid-back breakfast aboard your felucca, then you'll be disembarked at Daraw. Your Respect Egypt Tours representative will be there to meet and greet you, transferring you in an air-conditioned, comfortable vehicle to Luxor. There you'll start your exploration on the East Bank.

📍 Karnak Temple
Its vast complex includes temples, chapels, pylons, and other structures dedicated to various deities, making it a living history of ancient Egyptian religious beliefs and architectural styles.

📍 Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple, primarily built during the New Kingdom period (c. 1550-1070 BC), was dedicated to the Theban Triad. Its location in the center of modern Luxor provides a striking contrast between the ancient and the modern.

After a full day of exploring the wonders of the East Bank, you’ll check into your hotel in Luxor, where you can relax and prepare for tomorrow’s exploration of the West Bank.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch | Overnight: Luxor Hotel

After breakfast, cross the Nile to the West Bank, a land that has a long tradition of burials associated with ancient Egyptians. Here, the pharaohs and queens of the New Kingdom built their homes for eternity in a super vast and amazing necropolis.

📍 Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings, used as a burial site for pharaohs of the New Kingdom, is home to over 60 tombs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun.

📍 Temple of Hatshepsut
The Temple of Hatshepsut, built during the 15th century BC, is dedicated to the female pharaoh Hatshepsut. Its unique terraced design blends seamlessly with the surrounding cliffs, creating a visually stunning monument.

📍 Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon, dating back to the 14th century BC, are two massive quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. They originally stood guard at the entrance to his mortuary temple, which is now largely in ruins.

Night Cairo tour with Respect Egypt Tours

Feb 2026 • Friends

We had the absolute best experience with our guide, Reda. From the very beginning, she was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought so much depth and context to everything we saw, but explained it in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, not overwhelming. Reda struck the perfect balance between professional and personable. She made us feel safe, taken care of, and genuinely excited to be there. You could tell she truly loves what she does, and that passion made the entire experience unforgettable. She was attentive to our questions, mindful of our pace, and always one step ahead, whether it was navigating crowds, sharing historical insight, or making sure we were comfortable. Having her as our guide elevated the entire trip. If you get the chance to tour with Reda, take it. She was simply great.

A great guide working for a great tour company

Peter B

The pre-tour customer service support was the best I’ve experienced for a day trip in a dozen years of travel – highly responsive and clear – including accommodation of my late modification to the itinerary. My thanks to Nada. My guide on a private tour to the GEM and Old Cairo Museum, Laila, is young but knows her subject matter and explains things well. Often with day trip guides you can tell that they know the script but are less comfortable with broader or deeper questions. That is not true of Laila. She has put in the homework needed to know Egypt’s extensive history. She really knows her way around both museums, too, which helped maximize my time. And she has a friendly, casual style that makes her comfortable to be with for a full day. I would not hesitate to request her for another tour. Our driver, Ayman, was excellent. He called me at the hotel the day before the tour to confirm the pick up time. I’ve never had that happen on any other tour. It was a nice touch. On the drive he was good at pointing out local sections of Cairo and landmarks, and was deft at getting off the main road and cutting through a residential section to pick up our guide (it was interesting to see neighborhoods up close).

Great trip !!

Our group of four had an excellent visit to Egypt in mid January, thanks to Respect Egypt Tours. We had built a custom tour for four family members to pick us up at the airport, secure visas, get around Cairo and Luxor, take us to all the must-see sites, and generally babysit us. This tour company exceeded our expectations. Our guides were Wael in Cairo and Ahmad in Luxor, both skilled, knowledgeable and very friendly. The Respect Egypt Tour coordinator, Nada, was more attentive before and during the tour than any I have ever worked with. We highly recommend this company to all who want some hands on when they visit Egypt.
